Don't waste your money... the 'step' to open the lid breaks easily. We have an office of 3 people so this item is not overly used nor abused. No excuse for the step to break so easily, but since it's all plastic with metal screws, I suppose it's bound to happen.

We use this in our breakroom - it is larger than most kitchen cans which makes it nicer. Unfortunately, it is not made well. The lid broke in less than a month. It's okay, if you don't need the lid to flip open. We have two others, in areas that do not get much use, and they are okay.

I love the size of this trash can opening. You can put your trash inside without it spilling on the floor.

When you remove the trash bag, it comes out very easy, and the price was just right.
