I've been using these pencils for almost thirty years and find them to be very durable and versatile. The erasers are handy, hidden under the metal end cap, and replacement lead and erasers are economically available in large replacement packs. Occasionally, the lead jams in the pencil, but it usually doesn't happen until after years of daily use from a single pencil. The only thing I've seen happen to render the pencil useless is the lead feed mechanism sometimes fails after years of use. Great product at a very fair price.

the reason i bought this product was it was the only mechanical pencil that approaches the features, quality, and dependability of the Sanford Technician 2 mechanical pencils that your store has carried in the past. perhaps you will offer these pencils (tech 2)in the future again. they made great gifts and were recommended to everyone that asked.[@]
