I'm commenting the good ones AFTER I exchanged the bads to Pilot HQ. When these pens are behaving properly, they write so good and smooth. If skipping is an issue (mine is a big deal), then opt for #10 instead of #07, since they are less susceptible. Otherwise, Zebra Jimnie Gel Medium is a good alternative.

these pens in purple are a disappointment. Usually I am thoroughly pleased with Pilot products for comfort and functionality. All my purple pens seem to have the same kind of problems, maybe it isn't drying up so much as a failure of the ink to leave the pen.
