sandisks work regardless of weather extremes- a real plus for me. they were used in both the jungles of costa rica (very humid) and in the mojave desert (very dry and hot). i've used other sandisks in germany in the winter (very cold). excellent products.

The new chips these days need to have a BIG note on the package that you need to format the chip before using. Otherwise your pictures are not acceptable very long in a reader or your camera.
