I was having backaches from using a task chair as my primary desk chair at work. I started using this chair 6 months ago, and haven't had a backache since.

As far as the other review...I haven't had a need to use the warranty, and the adjustable arms, noted in the description, are part of what makes the chair ergonomically well designed. Any ergonomically correct chair will have arms that swing out to adjust to an individual's use of the chair, so I don't think that's a fair "con" side.

Research what you're getting, and if you're looking for a good ergonomic primary chair for several hours use at a time, this is a good deal for a good chair. I didn't need/want leather, and was looking for an economical chair that included lumbar support. I found the perfect chair for my needs in this product.

The only downfall was putting it together. After the initial attempt, the lumbar support only worked for a few days, but after reassembling it, it has worked fine since. That's the only thing stopping this review from being 5 stars.

I purchased the chair thinking it had a limited lifetime warranty. The pneumatic cylinder is only warrantied for 3 years, and other parts are only 3 to 5 years. There are less expensive chairs that come with a 15 year warranty on the pneumatic cylinder. I contacted Sealy to try to figure out if there was a way to tighten the arms. They swivel too easily which causes instability when getting in or out of the chair. They did not respond.
