Not only does this product not do any of the things that some of the horror story reviews says it does (Bin does NOT pop open when in use, does not overheat after even 5-10 min of continuous use), but it is by far the best shredder available for the money!!!
Would recommend it to all who read this!
Heck...it even cuts CD's/Credit Cards into micro cut size pieces (unlike the Fellowes Brand micro cut shredder which will only cut in 3-4 large pieces that can be put back together easily). The only thing the Fellowes has going for it is that it is a little bit more quiet, and this shredder was a bit louder than expected.
However this is not loud enough to bother anyone in the next room watching TV & it is much more quiet than the shredder I paid over $100 for @ Wal*mart about a year ago!

(To those whose machine never turned on, did you put the lock-out key in??? without it it will not even power-on/light up...let along shred)!
Great Product and made in USA!
So ignore any bad reviews & buy this Shredder.
You won't be disappointed!
