I work for a doctor's office and we shred a great deal on a daily basis. The shredder is quiet, but it is very slow. Another con is the shredder will say the bin is full when it is only halfway full and will not allow you to shred further until you put a new bag in. This is very aggravating! You have to constantly open the bin and shake the shredded papers around to redistribute them on the sensor (I'm guessing) then you can shred a few more papers before you have to change the bag completely. I've already experienced a horrible jam on the second day of use because one of the girls in the office put too many papers in at one time. I followed the instructions in the manual for clearing a jam and that did not work. I had to keep turning it on and off because each time it would turn back on it would take a little bit through. Eventually it took all the paper, but I seriously thought it was a goner. I, personally, would not recommend this product for an office that has to shred a lot on a regular basis!

The shredder is expensive for the work performance. The bin full light comes on when the bin is not even 1/2 full. It lacks power and shreds very slowly. I would not recommed this shredder to any small business.

i use this shredder for confidential buisness documents. the best thing is that it can shred ALOT of papers at once. HOWEVER, you have to change/shake/push down the bin like every 5 minutes...literally. and it overheats rather quickly. its very slow compare to other shredders ive had, but again the amount of papers it can take makes it worthwhile. bottom line: good buy if your expecting a mediocore job.

A lot of shredders have an opening on the top of the shredder but this one has the opening in the front so I can stack papers (or whatever) on top of this shredder. The power cord on the back is great, I plug in an air freshener and my pencil sharpener and it sits right on top of the shredder. It's a great shredder for the price. This is my second one and I would buy it again!
