I bought it for the light and he works well, takes up little space and provides an excellant reading lamp. the Magnification is a nice feature for working on small items or trying to read extra fine print.

My only problem is that along with its ajustability it is hard to keep in place and the tightner seems very fragle so I'm always concerned that when I tighten it the knob will break.

Overall it meets my needs and works as designed but I do wish it was a little more sturdy.

Went to Staples Store in Salisbury Md and was told you can't get a replacement bulb by a store employee that certainly didn't care about me as a customer by his attitude.

I use the lamp part to see at my computer, and I use the magnifying part to view old photographs for restoration, or to see any photo details.

What's great is that it's all in one place, it's flexible and I can move it out of the way easily. It clips onto a shelf I that I have my computer on.

Nothing bad about it guys.
