The clamp base broke the very first day I set it up. The screw for positioning didn't tighten, so the lamp pretty much stayed in one position, uncomfortable.

This is a piece of garbage. It would not stay in place and when I tried to tighten it up it broke. Made with plastic parts. Even at less than $20.00 it is way over priced. They should pay me to take it.

Glad to see that these are back in stock at Staples. I've been looking all over for this lamp. I like this design that uses a knob as an on/off switch; more comfortable and longer lasting than other designs.

Looks better than it performs... breaks much too easily... usually need to replace one every few months. I do need to find a better built lamp... one that will last for a few years.
