I was a bit surprised at how well this shredder performed. Shredded my CDs with no problems and no struggle slow downs like my last $ 100 shredder did. The bin is small so if you shred alot you may want a larger shredder.

I also thought it was broken, but when you plug it in, there is a power button in the back that you need to turn on too.
