Needed extra shelf space. Not a very complicated assembly. Bigger than I expected but it was only because I didn't check the dimensions that carefully. Had the room and just needed a reasonably priced bookshelf so wasn't too picky.

For the price its a good bookshelf. I purchase for use in my office at work so did not want something expensive. The shelf's are deep enough to hold my manuals.
