I have 3 of these units in my office. They do a great job of holding the many books that I have. I will be looking into buying shorter units for yet another wall later this year. The cam-lock mechanisms are plastic which is a drawback, but other than that these shelves are great for the money.

I put a LOT of books on this shelf, and it's holding up quite well so far. I kept the heaviest books on the bottom shelf, and the unit does lean back and rest against the wall, but it isn't a problem. The back is really just cardboard--very flimsy, but not bad-looking, and it doesn't affect the unit's overall usefulness. A nice shelf at a good price!!
