I had a heavy but small piece of very expensive test equipemnt that had to be shipped quickly. It did not have any type of carrying case. To ensure that the glass display screen did not break or that the equipment did not shift around and create a hole in the shipping box, the bubble wrap did a great job. I used the standard bubble wrap all around the test equipment itself and then used the larger bubbled wrap inside the box to stabalize the entire product. It arrive safely because of the bubble wrap (Good thing-because the equipment is about $8,000 to replace)

I used the product for mailing items that needed modest protection. I found the bubble wrap to be entirely too flimsy and lightweight to suit my needs, and used the product up quickly. I thought that this product was too expensive, and if I bought a better quality product at Staples, it would be even more expensive. I will shop elsewhere.
