This bookcase was inexpensive and very easy to put together. It has a decent appearance for a work or home environment. I am using it for business to store the various printing papers I need to keep handy. The adjustable shelf is starting to bow. I can't imagine it holding a full shelf of hardcover books, paperbacks maybe. I see this as a temporary storage solution for most users.

[...]I was careful tightening the plastic cam locks, but still cracked three (in four units). Go back to the metal cam locks.

Using this for my second grade classroom. My son (12) and I had them both ready to go in less than 1/2 hour. Just a small chunk missing from finish on top. Didn't notice until it was all assembled. Oh, well!

These have been a great addition to my classroom. I wait until they go on sale at half price. They are easy to put together and are sturdy. I use them for book storage, our class library and other storage. It's just the right height to fit underneath the chalkboard for easy access to stored items. Wait for the sale!! GREAT VALUE!!!

I used the book case in my elementary school classroom. I need something small for space sake so it fit nicely in the room . I use it to hold school supplies that are in plastic bins. I would also use it for a book case if needed. The price was right!
