Stopped stapling so I took it apart to see the problem. Main pivot mechanism that pushes staple down used a cheap plastic bushing that split after normal use and caused the mechanism not to push staples down. CHEAP!

This is a great quiet automatic stapler.
The only problem I've had is the guard in the front always breaks off.I have 3 and all of them have had that problem. It doesn't prevent stapeling.
I own 3 for business and home!
