I am a high school student taking a college calculus class and have used a number of TI products before. This calculator lives up to the reputation of TI calculators, being built for careless use by students. It's quite a solid piece of equipment. Reading the manual is advisable, even if you've used lower tier TI calcs (TI-82, TI-84) because the menus can get frustrating to new users (myself included). It gets the job done well for calc class, and it includes a plethora of other programs (including calendar (?), note taking, and electrical engineering programs) to help in a variety of situations.
