I am usually pretty good with directions, but when we were planning a family road trip across the country, I decided to buy a GPS system to make the travel easier. I shopped online for deals and found this TomTom on sale here. It arrived the afternoon before we left, so I was afraid that I didn't have enough time to set it up. Once I turned it on, and started it, I realized my fears were for nothing. It was very easy to set up and was even easier to use during our trip. We nicknamed ours Tom during the trip and often laughed at his insistence at us returning to our route when we would get off route for a pitstop. There were lots of other bonus features that I have not fully investigated, but plan on doing so before my next trip. You can also easily mount and dismount Tom from the windshield mount so you can hide him when you leave the vehicle. Tom gives acurate mileage and trip times in an easy to read display. I have told many family members about him and my sister-in-law who traveled with us, plans on giving one to my brother for Christmas!
