After reviewing this phone carefully before purchase, it is anything but as described. First, we have Verizon wireless and now have a Verizon house phone, but you cannot access the ans. machine without a special code equipmt. Not disclosed.

Second, the Caller ID doesn't work at all even though we entered the phone numbers into the directory as instructed in the manual.

And the room monitoring doesn't work as others have. Others, you call your house and listen into your room. Not this phone, only if it reaches a certain level will the phone call you at the number you program. This doesn't work for those of us who are away for a few days and want to call home and check on a pet, such as our parrot.

The features we specifically purchased this phone for have been a complete disappointment and we're returning it asap.
