    Beautiful desk, but big chip on surface

    This is a beautiful desk and I like its shiny black varnish and rounded edges. It is also sturdy and fairly spacious. Set-up was a bit of a pain, though (it's a simple looking desk but there are many components) and took about 3-1/2 hours.

    My biggest complaint is that the surface of the desk arrived damaged; there is a 1/2" chip on one of the corners. It's especially unfortunate because it turns out that this chip is located on the front right corner of the desk.

    Despite the chip, I am happy with this purchase as well as with the quality, look and feel of the desk.

    Clear directions and straight forward assembly. All total it took about an hour for my wife and I to complete assembly.

    I did not like that the direction came in spanish and that there are all of the parts. We had to get a prosfesional to come in and setup for me!

    I guess you if you are good you should get this?
