I had to call company to access internet signal because of ATT was no help, the company walked me thru process, they were reliable and helpful.

After the vendor supplied unit (Qwest) barely worked, I purchased a Zoom, I have always had a good experience with their products. I followed the 3 or 4 steps in the setup guide and it has worked ever since. The only time I ever had a problem, over 1 year ago, was when I had a router sitting on top of the unit, they both got quite hot to the touch, I separated the units and have had no problems since.

The menu used for anything other than basic configuration, could use a lot of help.

I did not find this to be a user friendly device. Trying to configure port forwarding, I finally gave up, bridged to a Linksys router, and used that for port forwarding.

Support on the Zoom website was of no help either, as the help specified there and what was in the manual on disk, conflicted with each other frequently.

I would highly recommend you look elsewhere if you need to do anything other than basic connections.

The DSL modem provided by my ISP quit. It required a separate router and never did work nice with my home network. This unit setup faster than the original did, and worked with my network right off of the bat. Granted, I did take time to read the directions first (didn't take long) and I am an engineer. Very pleased.
