This is a convenience for getting a Seagate FreeAgent Drive connected to your computer, just drop the drive into the stand. However, you need TWO USB ports to plug the stand into and the ONLY color is white! The drive I bought is in black. Maybe the color is irrelevant if the device works, which it does.
