Starts out with the easiest opening 'blister pack' I've ever seen. Why hasn't anyone else thought of a pull tab on the back to open those stubborn packages?

Batteries (6 AAA's - not included) and tape install through the same door. I was concerned I would have batteries everywhere each time I changed tapes but so far that has not been a problem.

Moving from one font to another or changing size or style didn't seem as easy as my first Brother label maker from back in 1993 so I had to keep the instructions handy at first. This is just learning curve and quickly goes away.

Large type is easily readable and the ability to print two rows of text on a single label is something I needed that my old unit could not do. The new 'Deco' fonts are really nice for labeling microphone cables at church; easy to read at a glance. You need to look at the samples to see what I mean.

Two things to note. The starter tape is only 4 feet long, so buy extra tapes, you will need them. Plan out your labels in advance and space between labels instead of printing individually. The machine makes the start and finish spaces very generous so you save tape if you plan ahead. If it weren't for the extra space before and after, this product would be a five in my book

We order everything on line. Product was delivered right away, in great shape, and ready to use. We get great delivery here and it saves a lot of driving since the nearest Staples is 45 miles away.

The product requires 6 AAA batteries which were not included-
The directions for use are too lenghty and very confusing -
I tried several times over several days to figure out how to use all the features and was overwhelmed.

I use the P-touch labeling system to label our files in the office as well as bins. It's very simple to use and you can add designs and symbols. I can honestly say there isn't anything bad to say about this product.

I been using the Brother P-touch label maker to organize our inventory and label our office supplies. It is so easy just type your label and print. You can set the length, font size, etc.

We don't like how the label prints out extra blank label and couldn't get this to adjust easily. Refills are pretty expensive. Otherwise it's a great product and was well priced.
