You get what you pay for

I bought it for international calling (they offer 1000 minutes for $10), but could not get connected most of the time. When it did connect the sound quality was poor. I noticed sound quality issue within USA calls as well sometimes. I was also disappointed to see their second line that comes with premium package is not really a second line to be able to use with a 2-line phone. Overall, not workable for me so I returned it.

I normaly don't like to judge an item so soon because all the hype can go down the drain in 6 months or 2 or even 3 years if the thing breaks down. I love to be asked what I think about an item I've purchased in 4,5,6 years from now. I love the test of time. I just dropped my Vonage Service because this item is far more affordabe and since I don't carry a cell phone It works out great. So far, though, I'm 100 and 10 percent satisfied with the Ooma device. It was very simple to understand and hook up. The insructions were so user friendly that my 8 year old neice hooked it up for me. She went to the web sight and picked a number and in less than 30 or 40 minutes the unit was all hooked up and working. The calls are crystal clear and I'm loving the savings. I'm now going to talk my mother into changing to the Ooma service. THANKS FOR MAKING A GREAT ITEM. I'M VERY PLEASED

This item was great until after 3 months. Now I can't call out to anyone and I called the service section and they told me that I have to wait for a few days before they will get back to me. I spoke with Ricky and Kathy who you can totally tell that are not from America. I actually asked Kathy if that was her correct name and asked if it was Peggy. Sucks !!! Just want to warn everyone, if you buy the system, make sure within 30 days that you don't want the premier. They will charge you $9.99 until you say you don't want the premier anymore.
