I primarily use this product for flipping through paperwork because my fingers are so dry, but I found it also works great when I'm doing handsewing. It doesn't leave a mess or a stain on paper or fabric and feels comfortable on the fingertips - not greasy at all.

It's hard to find the larger size - my local Staples only carries the tiniest, so I've used Staples online with complete satisfaction.
