"Magic" isn't strong enough. There needs to be a more powerful word to describe the best eraser ever invented.

To qualify my review, let me first state that I'm an Astrologer of the old-school. This translates into drawing-up a Chart by hand instead of using a computer print-out. I do this because it just helps me to 'zoom-in' and really get a 'feel' for someone's Astrological profile and personality.

In order to accomplish this task, I have to use a pencil as my writing tool and, needless to say, there is a lot of erasing going on, *lol*

To this end, I have to say that this 'MAGIC RUG' Drafting Eraser is THE BEST eraser I have ever used. Two swipes and your mark is gone... and I'm not kidding.

NO tearing or creasing of the paper. NO smudging. NO rubbing back and forth. NO wearing the paper thin. If you do a lot of erasing, then this is the eraser for you... bar none.

Does it cost a lot? YES. When I first found it, I was aghast at the cost; but, sick and tired of smudging my Charts and tearing a hole in them trying to erase my mistakes, that I thought, 'what the heck', and gave the 'MAGIC RUB' a try.

And I'll never go back. They last a good long time for me, anywhere from about six-months to a year depending on my work load.

They are soft to the touch, and erase so well that I'm actually relaxed now when writing up my Charts because I know that when I make a mistake it will be easily, and beautifully, rectified.

Sometimes it just pays to have THE BEST, and this 'MAGIC RUB' Drafting Eraser is one of those times.
