I purchased the extended tabs to create a work portfolio folder. The extended tabs are used to divide the regular tabs. The package gives you a table of contents page in which you could write on (don't recommend) or tape a label on.

I LOVE theses dividers! I have a 3 ring binder with all my directories, maps, calendars etc. in sheet protectors. The Extra Wide Tabs stick out past the sheet protectors and make everything very handy.
