Phenomenal printer. Scans 11.7 x 12, and prints 12 x 12. We scan and print on 12 x 12 card stock and printing full out only leaves about 1/8 inch white border all around. Trim it and looks great. We also make Scrapbook 12 x 12 pages from a photo as background. Can copy any paper you have and print cheap. Ink last a reasonable number of pirnts. Does great 13 x 19 photos. Tray expands that large. I had to put 12 x 12 paper in as a custom size just once. It has 2 trays. I keep regular letter size cheap paper in tray 2 and use tray 1 for card stock and photos. also I have this set up as network and I can print to it from my office in another town. Sets up easy and does automatic wireless setup since it is a larger unit and I had to put it across the room. I am amazed at all it does for its low price. Scan is straight forward and saves as a number. I changed it to save as Scan xx in the My Pictures file and then change the name to a description. You can scan finished Scrapbook pages and email to family, etc.

A number of design flaws

I just setup my new WF-7520 printer and was immediately disappointed by a number of serious (and stupid) design flaws. 1) No manual paper tray - in order to print things like checks or special stationary, you need to take out the paper tray and place your item on top (or replace what's already there) 2) The only paper tray where you can put envelopes is the top tray (tray 1). That would be fine, except it will only copy or print faxes to tray 1. Because of stupid item #1 above, this means that envelopes are difficult to print on as well. 3) Printer doesn't autoselect the correct paper tray. Even though the driver (OS X 10.6) is set to autoselect, the printer still defaults to printing on tray 1. Since my tray 1 has envelopes, this means I have to remember to manually tell it to print from tray 2. 4) The trays are not interchangeable, so I can't make the envelopes tray 2. Only tray 1 allows you to put envelopes inside. Very disappointed in this printer and will very likely return it. Honestly, I don't know what Epson was thinking. Either a small office is not the target audience for this printer or they never actually tried it out before they manufactured it.

I typically use a large commercial printer for my print business; this machine allows me to create mock ups without wasting time and is great for quick day to day business needs.

With added features like mobile printing through Epson iPrint, I can make sure I have what I need in hand when I get back to the office, ready to go!

I have recommended this printer to family and friends; easily set up, this wireless printer is also a great addition to a home with multiple users who can print from anywhere!

Highly recommended

I'm a techie and have found the printer of my dreams! Right out of the box the first print was crisp and the gradients were as smooth as butter. This is a fantastic printer and without question, the best in its class. I've tried printing from my phone, tablet and through Epson Connect. All worked flawlessly. I even scanned to email and PDF directly from the printer panel. Also, flawless. The 2 paper trays are a huge plus. I keep plain, bright white paper in one and higher quality, Epson Presentation Paper in the other. Thanks Epson!

My husband bought this for me as a Christmas gift. I LOVE IT....but...imagine my dissappointment when I discovered that it will not print BORDERLESS 12 X 12 size paper....I use the 12 x 12 size paper a great deal and was really looking forward to the ability to print borderless 12 x 12 prints. It would really be GREAT if Epson can do an update to where it would indeed print borderless 12 x 12 size paper. Thanks in advance!

This is a wonderful printer. I write arrangements for jazz groups, and for years I have dreamed about being able to print my 2-page charts as 2-up 9X12 on 12X18 paper instead of letter-size sheets taped together. The WF-7520 fills the bill perfectly. It was easy to set up on my iMac, and after experimenting with my music software (Finale) print settings, my dreams came true. I found that the large paper must be placed in Tray #1, since its paper size list is largest. I have ordered a 2nd Tray #1, to be used for 9X12 paper in cases where the arrangement takes 1 or 3 pages instead of 2.

The reason I wanted this unit is so I could print 13x44 (for my full size patterns). In one place in the specifications it says it will take 13x44 paper but in another place it says it will print 13x19. Does that mean it will only print 13x19 on a 13x44 page or will it print the full 13x19?

Can I set the machine to print only in black at all times? This would be for employee use. Could I easily change back to color printing for occasional use? Will it copy in black if I permanently remove the color cartridge? It will be used mostly for a copier.
