This is perfect for keeping valuable documents (wills, power of attorney, living wills, house deeds, etc - all those legal important papers) safe, in one place, easily grabbed in case of emergency. Our old one was too small and held less documents because the case was too small for the papers (they were rolled up on the edges).

Purchased from Staples and worked fine without problems, until I moved the safe with the lid/cover open. The hinges on the cover easily tore in half and was unusable after that. This was 2months after the 1yr limited warranty. Sentry needs to make better/unbreakable hinges for the design on this safe to be effective.
