I really searched for the best mechanic pencil because I'm in school full time (I'm an adult) and I have a heavy hand. This pencil come in a 9mm lead, but it's still a nice look when you write. I have this in the 7mm as well. I just love this pencil and I have nothing bad to say about this pencil.

It's just "OK"

Use everyday in educational setting. Prefer the styling of Pilot Mechanical Pencils. I encourage the use of #9 lead pencils for my students because the #5 leads break too easily.

Great automatic pencil -- auto lead feed via button on the side of the pencil; sturdy and the transparency allows you to view the remaining lead supply. Bought the two-pack since one always 'hides' on my desk! The .09 lead is dark and easy to read.

I have ALWAYS used a 1.1mm pencil. They are TOO hard to find so I HAD to start using a .9mm. The name Pental has been around,I have used them in the past & so I trust the brand/product.

I am a pen and pencil fanatic. I keep upgrading to ones I like the best. This is the best mechanical pencil you can find. The .9 mm leads don't break as easily as the .5 mm, and I buy softs leads so I can erase more easily. Good product.
