We lost my father in law on January 6th, 2013, although he had had some health issues in November and December of 2012, he had overcome them and was recovering slowly. He died peacefully in his sleep, what a way to go! Anyways, in honor of him and the life he lived as a family man, a Christian Husband, father, grand father and great-grandfather, my daughter in law decided to make dvds of his life. This played during his viewings. So many people, family, friends, co-workers, church family, and funeral home staff enjoyed watching it. Then we gave some of them copies as gifts and placed them into the Memorex CD & DVD White Sleeves, they looked very nice and they protected the DVDs from getting scratched.

These CD covers work for what I need them for. The utilitarian use of these discs are for sharing recorded music with my band members. They do not scratch the disk and are reasonable covers for transfer of music to my band members. Another advantage is that they also take labels well. Labels for song titles are easily adhered to the back of the disc cover. A good workman-like product. The covers also last quite a while with extended use. They do not fray easily and they would be an item I would recommend.

I needed at least 50 DVD protectors. The hard plastic covers were to cumbersome and expensive. The sleeves provided a great way to transport the DVDs while protecting them from scratches. I also added a label on the front of the cover so people would know what the DVD included. I found a friend who had DVD markers; I used a marker to write the DVD title on the disc.
One suggestion--I did not find DVD marker pens near where the the DVDs or DVD protector sleeves were located. A few markers near the display would have made my trip more efficient (I never found any in the store.)

At first I used plastic cases with inserts and labels and marked on the case to id the contents. I started running out space with the upright cd holders, the 3 drawer cd/dvd holders. Then came the cd & dvd sleeves. They can be printed on,Titles to the CD or DVD, There are color sleeves that can be used to catagorize and id'ed at a glance. Then there are the cases that can be put together and stacked and hold a large number of cd's, dvd's. I found a program to organize my cd's and dvd's, and I label my cd dvd cases A to Z depending on the title, type and contents. Makes for easy location of my Movies, Data, Backups, Music, etc.
