I like this printer as uses less ink, smaller footprint, larger paper tray, eprint, and wireless. I also like the usb and sd connections on front, but had to add a cable to the pc for it to be seen. Wireless did not work for this part, but okay with cable as can still use wireless for connections with other computers.

I do not like the sleep mode as have to hit printer button to makeup and use. Still trying to figure out way to figure stop sleep as a pain. Can set max to 15 minutes, but not enough time.

The scan is important, but still looking for way to set directory to save files.

Recommend you print out a downloaded operations manual. As the newer models have more options you will need to look up things when you used ti just install, attach, and print.

The setup was easy, but did have some confusion on the wireless connection. Important you know your network name. I use this to print from a tablet, cellphone, laptop, and my desktop. HP has made that easy.

I expected great things which I did not get. After two months of use, I repaired my older HP 3310 AIO printer and went back to using it. changing from the photo tray to the main tray OR vice versa required too many steps, (changing it in one place was not sufficient, it required change in more than one area to effect the actual change). It appeared to require more ink than my HP02 cartridges in my HP 3310 AIO. I was not able to scan in my negatives or slides to the computer, which the HP 3310 allows me to do ( I do not have a lot of negarives or slides, but occasionally I do still have that requirement). Also, it has NO lighting or darkening ability when printing Photos. Also, it lacks the ability to increase or decrease individual colors within the printer (saturation or desaturation of individual colors). Sadly, my wife and I both bought this printer as an upgrade to our former printers. She does far less work on her printer than I do on mine, but she instructed me to remove her printer and give her back her old one, because she could not change from main tray to photo tray -- which I continually had to do for her. I probably fall in between the frequent user and the heavy duty user. Formerly I was a professional photographer, however, after I retired, I continue to take wildlife, macro, social events, landscapes, etc.. Age keeps me from the hectic pace of a professional photographer, but hasn't dimmed my love of photography. I am digital, so I process all my own work, and I print much of my work in folders just as I once did before I retired. Bring back the old HP 3310 AIO or even better, upgrade it, and I will be the first one in line to purchase a couple of them. This HP 2720, sorry to say, is no longer being used in our household. Neither mine nor my wifes. She prints very basic items like letters or birthday cards, and once in a while a photo - and when she says it's too complicated to make changes, it can't be too desireable. Sorry I have to be so negative. Please go back to the quality you had in the HP 3310 AIO. ps.. when scanning items into the computer, it takes 5 steps on the touch screen and 2 on the computer for each scan---unless there is a change for each and every scan, why is it necessary to dupelicate all the information each and every time. Why can't it be set up to scan certain criteria all the time UNLESS there is a need for a change. ie.. why is it necessary to set the dpi every time for every scan ?? It takes FOREVER to scan just a FEW photos.

Comments about HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One Printer:

After being idle for a while printer shuts down constantly. (even though the light is on). When I get ready to Print, send or receive a fax, I have to turn printer off & back on. This is frustrating as I can not be in the office constantly to make sure it is on so I can receive a fax. No reasonable help when I called Staples twice. I have it set to "stay on" for faxes. Evidently does not work with USB hookup. Constant message "USB not recognized" Have ALWAYS had HP computers & printers. Also had to install new driver before using! Not happy this time!

Comments about HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One Printer:

It was much easier to set up than I thought it would be. The wireless connection is solid and the computer screen menu window is large and easy to navigate. I've only had it installed for about a week, so my first impression is limited to that time frame. With that in mind, it's the best all in one printer I've ever owned.

Have used HP printers for a long time - this one is very disappointing. Ink alert and info is non existant and does not come up automatically. Unit is so lightweight it moves around when printing and makes lots of noise due to the movement - still prints fine despite the movement. Wish they still made the HP model I had before - it was much, much better.
