Not even worth returning to QVC.
Absolute JUNK. Fully charged it will not cut through a green stem 3/16" in diameter.

Not recommended, very unreliable.
I purchased the 1st one in July of 2023, by the end of the summer a poor design caused me to request a replacement (plastic teeth against metal does not work). It was out of stock and had to wait months for the replacement. The replacement wouldn't charge so I had to order a replacement cord, guess what, it worked for about a month and NOW July 2025, it will not charge ...

Never again
Have a model hj604c_stb , you can get replacement blades for hedge trimmer but not for grass trimmer, .iam done I have bought 2 of these and can't find blades for grass trimmer.

SunJoe grass shear
Replacement grass shear blades were never available since I had originally purchased. Sunjoe put me on a list for when they came available. Never reproduced. Loved the product but once blades get dulled you might as well throw it away.

Too big for smaller hands, design changed
This is bigger than the previous lower-volt model, plus one of the buttons you must push simultaneously with another is now on top, rather than on the side. I'm female, and this redesigned trimmer is too big for me to use. Had to return it. Love it, but no replacement blades
Overall I love these trimmers. My biggest issue is the fact that I have had to purchase two over the course of five years because I cannot get the replacement part for the grass trimmers. Makes trimming easy
I loved this tool for trimming the bushes I had failed to trim in more than a year. It was lightweight and easy to use. The bushes look fantastic.

Blades get dull quickly
After awhile, the blades got too dull to cut grass. The longer attachment never was any good at cutting grass. I'm trying to find a replacement for the small cutting head, but so far I don't see any options.

Loved my little hedge trimmer & grass trimmer. I am a lady 75 yrs old & it worked great for me. Just what I needed for my size & age. Fits right in my hand & didn't wear me out. I also have your pressure washer. You have wonderful products.

Light duty, not sharp.
The grass shear works pretty well, but the hedger is not meant for shrubs. It will trim leaves and tiny toothpick size sticks but is just not sharp enough to trim an evergreen hedge, it just rolls the material between the knives.

Sun Joe HJ604C Cordless Grass Shear + Hedger
I have every color of these and I get maybe one season. I just used today two of them a red one and a green one. The gears keep slipping. I am so frustrated and I just want to get through fall before winter and the temps are dropping awful.

Excellent product!
I was using scissors to trim our small yard before I bought this grass shear. Wow, what a difference! And the company is first-rate. Not many companies these days offer outstanding customer service, but this one does. I highly recommend Sun Joe.

Nice tool with cheap battery and short service lif
It's a good little tool but the battery stops taking a charge after three years of light use and gentle handling. With today's technology, a battery should last for six or more years, this one is just no good.

Worked great then didn't
Clipper worked great the first year. Then stopped working at all. Sun Joe support system is top notch. They identified the problem and rectified it. Great warranty.
