E-mail marketing is a great way to move your business forward. I have 5 ways that I can really help you optimize your e-mail campaigns. To optimize is to grow your e-mail list. It should be easy for customers to sign up to receive your e-mail on your website, or in person at your place of business. Contest and promotional offers that require sharing e-mail addresses are also good tactics.

Optimize creative assets. Make sure to include strong, vivid images that highlight the important part of the e-mail. Always remember that less is better when creating content for your messaging. Increase your open and click rates. You include share options, you can segment your e-mail list, and you can remove distractions from your e-mails. This will get customers to open your e-mails much more frequently. Optimize your e-mail for mobile. This is really important because over 40% of e-mails are opened on mobile devices.

Test your e-mail. Make sure it works on different mobile platforms. Make sure your buttons are clickable and easy to use on touchscreens. Increase deliverability. Start checking your subject line or e-mail copy for words or techniques that might look like spam to spam filters. You should also analyze your bounce backs and remove hard bounces from your list.
