STAPLES SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO GIVE THIS AWAY WITH A PURCHASE OF [$]. MAYBE THEY SHOULD TRY THE PRODUCT BEFORE GIVING THESE AWAY. I GUESS THIS WAS THE ONLY WAY TO GET THEM OUT OF THEIR INVENTORY.

One star is too much ...I have wasted an hour trying to figure it out cos the file called "no name" wouldn't appear on my Mac. I thought it was me, the battery or my computer but now I see everyone else had the same problem.[...] Now I'm disappointed! :-(ZERO stars to this product!

Received these free and gave to my sons as gifts, only to discover they don't work at all! They will not communicate with any of our computers and all I ended up with was 2 very disappointed children at Christmas. Staples should seriously review any products they give away as "free" gifts to avoid customer irritations!

This mp3 player is a piece of garbage. Yes, it was a free Staples gift, but they really should be more selective with what they offer as free. It worked for about 20 minutes and then stopped. The headphones are horrible. There are plenty of other decent mp3 players out there - spend the extra [$] and get an iPod shuffle!

My 11 year old daughter wanted an MP3 player so bad for Christmas, so I got this one. I should have read the reviews first. After hours of trying to figure out how to down load songs, it worked for less than an hour and just stopped in mid song and that was it. My daughter was so upset and I am very disappointed with what Staples is trying to pull, releasing this garbage.

I realize I got this free but I was rather humored by the lack of...everything. very small storage, multi-use buttons, no screen, minimum format. So quaint. It only accepts MP3s and even then its confusing. Im shocked that it was once for sale on [...] site for [$]. I thought [$]was more like it. If they added a generic AAA battery the value would double!!!

Finally got around to trying it out ... to use on 5-hour flight. Came "pre-loaded" with 2 songs. I didn't care for them, so loaded my own. Guess what? No matter how I tried, it would only load and play ... wait for it ... 2 songs! I pretty much figure that what I received was a unit that someone else had returned because it only holds/plays 2 songs! [...]

I had this for less than a day before it stopped working. I used it for about 1 hour and it performed fine, put it away and then a few hours later used it again and within @ 10 minutes of my turning it on for the 2nd time, it mysteriously stopped working, and no matter what I tried, I couldn't get it to work again.

I agree with the other review that this so-called mp3 player is a piece of junk. No instructions were included, and the disk that came with it only had to do with converting mp3's to wav and vice versa. There is absolutely no way to use it as an mp3 player. [...]

This came as a free item along with an order [$]. You can barely use it as a USB thumb drive. MP3 player does not work at all. Does not come with any proper documentation. Worse off, it does not even have a brand or model name. I thought Staples would stock better stuff than this.
