Not worth the cost of the batteries! Definitely a true 'line of sight' item. Haven't had trouble with it, but I sit at my computer and the transmitter and receiver aren't that far from each other. If I wander into the next room, as soon as I am out of line of sight I lose reception. Sound quality not a problem since I listen to Books on CD. Wouldn't recommend for music. Actually, wouldn't recommend. Period. Spend the money you'd waste on batteries to purchase a quality wireless headest that has a built in battery charger for the headphones. And one that can receive just about anywhere you happen to be in your house (they do exist - I ended up buying one, and it has been worth every penny).

The advantage is that this is cordless, so you don't have to stay tethered to your computer's headset. The disadvantage is that you need LINE OF SIGHT, and you can't get very far away. Spend some real money and get some real wireless headphones.

Totally displeased with every aspect of this product. I've just got one and I can say I'm happy to give this to anyone who wants to pay the shipping cost. My recommendation: *STAY AWAY* even if it's free!.

A Total Ripoff

Bottom Line:

I was recently given this product as a reward from [...] for ordering a certain amount of merchandise. I am thrilled that I did not buy them as I would have been upset beyound words by the totally dissapointing performance. In every aspect these headphones let the user down. The connections fell apart after a few days. The one off switch stopped working within the first week and the major wire from the phones to the T.V. actually fell out of the phones making them totally useless.I understand the quality issues involved when buying from companies overseas but you people should test things first before trying to win friends and repeat orders by giving away garbage such as this. Also, the package was mislabeled and said that a 3 volt adapter was included which was not in the box.
