All I've done is back up my laptop. It did the job. Can't complain. I really have nothing to compare it to because I've never bought a back up drive before. I've always just burned things to CD, disc or jump drive. It is nice to have ONE place to store EVERYTHING in the event my computer wants to pass out. LOL

PLUS I got it on clearance. Couldn't beat the price.

Full-size cassette size is a must for long conferernce calls, as I do not like the micro-cassette recorders.
Love the features (backspace, tape speed, etc).
Motor should be stronger to last for a longer period of time; already went thru 2 of these units because motor started dragging.

The Product Replacement Plan (PRP) adds an additional year long warranty to the manufacturer's warranty. In most cases, this gives 2 years of full coverage. For myself, most products fail in the first two years or keep going forever. The PRP allows me to save money in the event of a failure, and the plan is inexpensive for what it covers.
