This is a great shelf unit for displaying books and collectibles. My hardware store sells addition shelf's and hardware if needed. They might be a slight darker in color but it works for me.

These book cases are awesome and a great price. I have them in my classroom library. The only negative thing I would say is that the back of it is flimsy cardboard and I wish the holes for adjusting the height of the shelves were closer together because the space is either too big or too small. It has worked fine and you can't beat the price. Hey it's withstood 22 five and six year olds.

I purchased this to match the others I have around the house and office, I actually bought 2 in one trip. When putting together it was highly scratched and nicked and missing some parts. I have never had an issue with this item in the past, but this was a different name brand. I do not recommend.

I have owned and used this shelf for several years. The middle of the back has fallen out and no longer keeps the books from falling out of the back. This is mostly because the back is made of cardboard, and cannot take the abuse of a young child putting the books away.

I believe the manual says you can store 35 lbs on the bottom shelf and 20 lbs on the top and the middle shelf. I have pretty close to this on my shelves and it's holding pretty well after a month.
