I purchased this chair as an alternative to an Aeron chair. The cost savings were substantial. I didn't expect it to perform even closely to an Aeron, but am pleasantly surprised by its support, adjustability, and comfort. This chair is a great value.

I spend a lot of time at the computer for both personal and home business use. Plagued with a lot of neck and shoulder pain with only temporary relief I decided to replace my chair. After looking at many different styles I chose this chair because the design keeps you sitting very erect. I have not had those pains since getting this chair. Very comfortable. I have not found one thing about this chair that I do not like.

The mesh design of the back of the chair adds just the right amount of support so you don't need an additional lumbar mechanism. Additionally, the arm rests are adjustable for desk versus keyboard work. I love the tilt feature on this chair as well. It is still very supporting when you lean back in the chair. Lastly, the cushion is quite comfortable as well. Overall, definitely a quality chair for the money!

I finally found a great chair that the minute I sat in it - I had to have it. Very comfortable, simple style and well manufactured.Only bummer was that after I purchased it, Staples put it on sale for [$] off and I could not get it at the store. I would recommend this chair to all and if you find it at Staples keep waiting or find it somewhere else. Staples has a bit of attitude towards it customers and not the best policies.

The chair was great. It is used as my primary work office chair. I'm a programmer so I sit about 6 hours a day in it. The lumbar support was amazing until..... One day I noticed a small tear in one of the seams that keeps the cover over the metal bars. It was were the mesh is sewn into the leather. I'm not a large person(six foot and average weight) but I noticed over time that the rip got larger and larger and now it is on both sides of the chair. The chair no longer provides lumbar support or much back support at all. I've had the chair less than a year! There are better chairs out there for the price. I was surprised because I decided to buy it after all the positive reviews.

I have serious back problems. I actually went to my local Stapes store to try out the various chairs they had in stock. Even the high-end stuff didn't support my back as well as this mid-priced chair. I would reccomend that you try actually sitting in this chair at your local store, if you like the comfort, look into the 13 colors of leather offered on-line, they run just a little more than the BLACK one that was in stock at my local store.

It always amazes me how companies can take a commodity (a chair), and turn it into a luxury item where only their product has certain "exclusive features".I had been looking for a decent office desk chair for 6 months. Refusing to pay [$] for other "luxurious" chairs, I finally came across this chair from Global at a fraction of the cost. It does everything I need it to. It provides excellent back support, has a seat with just the right firmness/softness, and rolls with the best of the luxury brands. No, you won't be able to brag to your guests that you spent [$]on your chair made by XYZ Luxury Chairs. You will save yourself a bunch of money, however, and your back and behind won't know the difference. And with the money you'll save, you can take your back and behind on a really nice weekend getaway. So when you come back refreshed, you'll feel even better about your wise purchase.

Used in the living room at a desk for computer work and watching a big screen TV it's just perfect. With the prior chair, while watching TV I regularly rocked way back with the front casters in the air so I could comfortably put my feet up on the desk. It took a couple of years but that ended up breaking the back of the prior chair which had been contoured plyscore screwed to a steel center post. This chair locks in an upright position or releases to a great counter spung variable layback range and the back is like a big strong steel loop with a air flow mesh center panel with great support which is very strong yet very comfortable. I couldn't be happier with it.

I like it because you can adjust the seat depth and it's not overly large, yet very comfortable. It literally took less than 10 mins. to assemble. We each used a coupon which made it a great deal too! (Only minor negative is the slight differentiation in height between the 2 armrests.)

I don't have a keyboard tray so it's hard to find a chair w/armrests that allows me to get close enough to my desk. The arms on this model adjusted to the perfect height. The seat cushion is comfy & appears to be well-made. The adjustability of the lumbar support is right on as well.

This chair is attractive, comfortable, and a great value.
It's fairly adjustable for a chair in this price range, but there is one adjustment that is lacking that I miss: You cannot lock the chair in a tilted position.
You can control the back and seat tilt tension and it can be locked, but only in the most upright position. You can't lock it in a slightly tilted position, which I miss.
Other than that, most other basic adjustment are present: height (pneumatic), arm width, arm height, seat back (forward and backward), tilt tension.
A great value for the price, however, and still quite comfortable. I sit in the chair for 8-10 hours a day.

This is by far the best chair I've ever had. I plan on buying a couple more next month, one for my home office and one as a back-up to replace my main office chair if it ever does wear out. I paid more the double what it is currently selling for and feel like I've gotten more than my money's worth out of it.... and it has plenty of life left in it.
