I saw this chair on sale in an ad and it was perfect timing because I needed a new computer chair. I was the first person in the store the next morning only to find they didn't have any. A second store later that evening only had a broken display model and a third store had ten, all on hold for a customer. I only got this chair because I needed something cheap and fairly comfortable and I thought it was at the time, but after spending a few hours sitting it, it's not so great. I will be getting something better in the not too distant future. I probably will also be getting it from somewhere other than Staples. They apparently don't keep even their advertised products in stock. The only reason I went with them this time was because I had a gift card I needed to spend up.

The chairs are fine with the price tag it has.
They are comfortable in seating. The pneumatic system for height adjustment does work well. I don't efficiently use the rolling system because I use it my apartment with the carpet but it rolls well on laminate floors. The seat pan is big enough to fit my butt, LOL. In terms of durability and value it stands good. Though I can't spend my whole day on it but it gives good lumbar support. The chair is light weight and occupies less space so you can move the chair around in your space. The only con on its part is it doesn't lean back.
It assembles fast and no tools are required. You wouldn't slouch if you sit on this chair and the fabric feels nice. It is economical and easy to clean.
On the overall I would recommend this to a friend..

I originally bought this chair because I have a bad back and advertisement said it was ergonomic and had lumbar support. The back was too rigid and I had to sit forward in the seat. I would never purchase this chair for a business. This chair originally was fairly comfortable and nice looking. I thought originally it was all leather by the way it was advertised. After about 6 months of use by 2 teenagers and myself the fake leather started cracking and peeling. The padding lasted about all of a couple of months. There are none of us weigh over 170 pounds so if you are heavier DO NOT buy this chair! The back adjustment is so sloppy that I replaced the original lock down bolt with a regular bolt and tightened it as tight as I could get it. Still it is sloppy and wiggles from side to side. This time I put my arm out reflexively to stop my fall, bruising and scratching my forearm on my paper shredder. I took this one back too.My previous chair was another [...] leather task chair that I have used for over 8 years, the problem being that the adjustment knob had cracked, which is expected in such a long period. I don't know if something has changed in the manufacturing process, but the best thing about the replacement chair was the easy return policy.

Assembles easily. Found pad too thin for comfort, but it was easy to insert more foam under seat cover. Very happy with it for a couple years UNTIL started letting me down! At first it lowered gently only when I leaned back. Been using in collapsed state for one particular task, but now the connection between the seat and post has loosen, rocking me to the side. Luckily no injuries. The seat was a good value for the money up until it starts dropping.

I purchased this chair around spring 2007. I can't remember what the weight limit is, but I am about 220 lbs. and the seat portion sometimes makes a "cracking noise" if I adjust my weight too quickly. I maybe use this chair 5-10 hours per week, so it's not being over worked. I figure it will probably break eventually. I wish I would have purchased a more steady/durable chair.

This chair does NOT have casters for hard floors like hard wood floors, tiled floors, or for floor mats. It comes only with casters for carpeted floors. Nothing on the product box alerts the customer to that. For some customers, such as myself, we use hard floors for our work areas. In such a case, we will have to buy, separately, an entire set of the appropriate casters. The cost is at least [$]! The hidden cost is at least 60% of the price of the chair!
