I bought the previous model of this same organizer for home and wanted one for my desk at work. They improved the size and capacity of the pencil/pen compartments by going from 4 down to 3 on the organizer. However, they took some cost out of the rotation mechanism and it shows in poorer spinning of the organizer.

The picture shows an organizer divided into thirds with 3 upper trays and 3 pencil slots, but what I received is an organizer divided in quarters with 2 smaller upper trays and 4 slimmer pencil slots, with 4 lower trays.

I prefer what was in the picture because each compartment is a little larger but will definitely make use of this as well.

We were used to just putting everything in a "cup" style organizer. So, when I surprised my receptionist with it all set up for her on a Monday morning, she was pretty pleased.

Center hole is a too deep for scissors, pens, etc. A little tissue stuffed into the bottom quickly solved the problem. This little wonder holds more than it looks like it would.
