I've used these hooks both at home and in my classroom. At home, they hold heavy bath sheets in the bathroom. In the classroom, they hold winter coats, clip boards, brooms & mops, and bags of playground equipment. They're easy to install and stay put on cinderblock walls. They're even easier to remove in order to reposition should the need arise. I absolutely love the ease with which I can now hang things without having to hammer cement nails!

I wanted to use it for hanging paintings at the town hall.....to avoid making holes in the walls. But the wt. was only 3 lbs. I have used this product at home to hold kitchen utensils and it is fine for that and doesn't ruin the wal.

We purchased this item to hang our shower spray cleaner in our bathroom. We had done this at our previous house that had marble-type walls and it worked great. At our new home, the walls are pretty glossy and the hanger only stayed up two days. This happened twice. We purchased the heavy duty hook to hold the weight, but it was the adhesive that failed.
Other than this incident, I love these hooks. I use them every year at Christmas to hang stockings on the fireplace mantle. I also have them installed in the kitchen pantry to hold potholders and aprons.
