[...] Have it...and absolutely love it! I'm an artist and it's perfect for spreading out all my painting stuff to work! I'm serioulsy thinking about buying a second one for use in my kitchen, and now I see the black one anyway, still available again. This is such a useful solid, and attractive table, hard to find anything like this again! Don't hesitate...BUY IT!

Love how it can provide extra seating at dinner, otherwise it sits on wall in livingroom as table for my laptop. Very sharp looking! I have this in black, fits in well with the decor!

I use it as a center island with two matching stools. The black color matches the rest of counter tops in my kitchen. The combo is very functional and looks great except the chipped paint spots. After two months, the paint starts to chip away. Now the surface looks flaky.

It's perfect, when folded, for a 2-3 person meeting or interview, and great for up to 6-8 people to eat or meet when it's open on both sides.
I use it most often for sorting and projects where I need to spread out a lot of materials and be able to see and reach them all. And then when I don't need all that space, I can fold one or both sides to make more room. I have it in a small 9x9 room and it's a great piece alone (with the stools) in that space, or would be a great addition to a larger space.
The drawer is sturdy and ample. I was able to assemble it easily myself in a jiffy. It was too heavy and bulky for me (a small woman) to move, but my husband could move it alone, so it's not extremely cumbersome.
When I buy a new home this summer I plan to buy one for my project room there as well!

I purchased this product for my kitchen and even though it is a craft table I will be using it as a kitchen table/ counter. It doesn't take up much space and whenever you need the full table all you have to do is extend the sides and you have a dining table. This product is very sturdy and was easy to assemble.

I bought this table to use as an island for extra counter/food prep space in my kitchen as well as a kitchen table.
With the 2 leaves that fold out, it will make an excellent overflow dining table for family gatherings. The black finish matches my appliances perfectly.
It also makes for an excellent project table with or without the leaves out. The construction is extremely sturdy. Since it's heavy, it's not a table that is easily moved from room to room but my intent is to leave it in the kitchen. The accompanying stools (a separate purchase) are very comfortable and fit right under the table so they are never in the way.
I've seen tables of this quality sold at other retailers for 4 and 5 times the price I paid for this table.
I'm sure I will get many years use from it. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase.

I was surprised by how heavy/sturdy/durable these are. I bought two and they fit perfectly in my craft room. You can't beat the clearance price for a really great deal!

This table was shipped to me, and was very easy to assemble. Very well made, and sturdy... the extended sides are nice to work off for big jobs... Wish the drawers would open on both sides; rather than just one sided drawer.

Looks good, and fits a small dining space, but doubles as my project table for crafts. I love that I can tuck it against a wall for personal projects, or open it up for dinner with guests. It is quite a heavy piece though, and took a second person to help me flip it over after assembly. The assembly is easy, but the veneer cracked on the underside of the table from a girl's wimpy crank on an allen wrench. So, the quality is not the highest, but neither is the price, so it's a good compromise.

I have a small home office and the need for a lot of surface area to work on my photos. This project table is the PERFECT solution- it folds up nice and small to take up only a couple of feet of space, but when opened, I can easily trim my 40" lengths of mat board on it's surface. I only wish it had a tougher finish, as it scratches easily (though a Sharpie is a quick fix on the black finish). I bought the entire set, but this piece is my favorite!

I found this on sale [$]I got the bargain of a lifetime. This table is remarkably sturdy (and heavy). Nice enough to sit prominently in our kitchen. We are using it for a computer area/homework area for the kids. But when the leaves are fully extended it will make an excellent extra dining table when we have guests over. And when the leaves are folded, it's a nice serving buffet, too, if we need the space for food. I have used it w/my laptop. It's nice to have a place in the kitchen other than the kitchen table to do some computer work & pay bills.We got the black one (the model on sale) and the only drawback is that for some odd reason Staples had discontinued the matching black stools. So I had to drive around and beg area Staples to sell me their display stools (normally they don't sell display furniture, so I really did have to beg). Of course the look of the black table w/mohagany stools isn't bad - that's what's pictured - but we prefer all black.Delivery was extremely quick - just two days. And free shipping. Great bargain. And a nice, high-end product. This table could easily be placed in our dining room.It was very easy to put together. I only needed my husbands help to flip it upright after I put it together since it is quite heavy. I've put together many things from other stores and this by far was the sturdiest-made item and had the clearest instructions. Even the bags of screws were clearly labeled so I didn't have to figure out what screw was named what (to go w/the directions). Much of it comes already put together. Basically, all you do is attach the side legs (only TWO pieces) and the knobs.
I have the black veneered set, purchased pretty soon after seeing it on a Staples floor. Bought 2 desks plus the apothecary table & a few other pieces. [...] The quality of these pieces is absolutely abysmal. The veneer scratches & chips at the slightest touch. After just a couple of weeks, the raw MDF or whatever is beneath the black finish was showing everywhere. If you slide a book across the desk it leaves a scratch or permanent scuff. After spending some [$]on these pieces I obviously expected something more than this. Very disappointing stuff. [...]

This table is the best - great for the kitchen, perfect use for laptop. I saw this in our local store, needed more space in kitchen and since my office is on a lower level, I thought this might work. It has a drawer for all my husband's stuff that comes out of pockets every day.
Directions - easy, easy, easy. Parts are separated and labeled. Can't say enough good things
this is a very well made piece of furniture- its absolutely solid and sturdy. we opted for this over a desk- kids & everybody loves it. fact that it expands is super. also very stylish and pleasing to eye.

We use it as a kitchen table. Bought two of the stools that match it and two counter-height bar stools. Great for small dining area or craft table. Easy assembly, need two people due to the weight.

I gave it 4 stars because I wasn't too crazy about the knobs. I thought the knobs were the only part that wasn't up to par with quality. I changed the knobs with my own.
The assembly was easier than anticipated. Great solid quality. It's worth every penny. I use it in my remodeled kitchen which works perfectly. It's folded for our family use and I open it up when entertaining & for school projects! My search is over!! My family loves it!!

Beautiful piece of furniture. Fantastic for a small space where it's important to be able to make it compact and get it out of the way when not in use, but it still needs to look good. The cost, however, is impractical at about a hundred dollars too high. I recommend waiting for it to go on sale.
