Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I did not enjoy putting this together, but once it was done, it was worth it. It is solidly built and very attractive. It is a great organizer, with the different size drawers. My only complaint, if I had to give one, was that the drawers could be a little bigger. I bought a 'wicker' drawer set from a dept. store that does not come near to the quality of this one.
