The first one I received was locked with no combination. The manufacturer was of absolutely no help, so I had to send it back to Staples, which was fine, but it was yet more time without a safe. When the new one arrived, it had a slight paint chip and the bottom bowed just slightly.

I would also point out that the safe comes with no anchor parts or shelves. The manufacturer charges twenty bucks for any of these and they're simple plastic pieces which I can't see costing more than five or ten.

On a side note, the safe does not allow you to create your own code. I was a bit annoyed at that.

All in all, it's solid... but I'm glad I got it on sale.

This safe is so durable it got droped down a flight of concrete stairs and did not have one scratch not one dent not even a chip of the side
