I love this safe, it is very solid, which makes me confident it would do the job if there was every a flood or fire. It is however a little hard to open the latch when you need it in. Maybe I am a women and am just a bit weak, but besides this is it wonderful.

This fire safe looks like it will do the job of protecting my electronic media and legal paperwork fine. Sentry should have a fold away handle on ALL of their smaller document safes such as these, making it easier to grab and take with you in the event of a fire.

This product is a bit difficult to open. often you have to fumble with it for a few minutes. I am not the only one in the office who has had this problem.

Great for securing small but important items. I like the fact that it is both fire proof and water proof. I would not otherwise have thought water proof was important because I do not live in a flood zone, but the salesperson pointed out that if your house is on fire, there will be water poured on it too!

Great safe, the opening procedures can be very hard sometimes, and if your not at eye level it can be difficult to get the key in the lock properly. Otherwise its a pretty good small safe and does what its' intended for, protecting valuables.

This is perfect for keeping valuable documents (wills, power of attorney, living wills, house deeds, etc - all those legal important papers) safe, in one place, easily grabbed in case of emergency. Our old one was too small and held less documents because the case was too small for the papers (they were rolled up on the edges).

This small safe is sufficient for my most important documents. At 32 lbs. I can move it when necessary.
I feel it served my needs without getting any more
expensive, complicated or heavy. It is attractive and reasonably priced.

[...] worked fine without problems, until I moved the safe with the lid/cover open. The hinges on the cover easily tore in half and was unusable after that. This was 2months after the 1yr limited warranty. Sentry needs to make better/unbreakable hinges for the design on this safe to be effective.
