I wanted a case to protect my nuvi; however - you have to take the nuvi out of this case in order to use it - which seems to defeat the purpose. I guess it does keep it protected in my purse.... not so great - for [$]...

Works well with the Navigon 1200 GPS unit I purchased at the same time. I made one minor adjustment to the case, however. I added some hard foam to the bottom of the case to further protect the GPS from moving. If anything, I would recommend this to anyone who does not plan on moving the GPS very far or often. If you do, get a better fitting case. I took it for granted that a Navigon case would better fit a Navigon GPS.
