I have a Dell ink jet printer and the cartridges allow very few prints. It comes no way near the suggested number of copies. If I could use another manufacture cartridge would not buy Dell. Have had better experience with other manufactures that I have used in the past.

Generic inks will work in the three-in-one Dell copier but it only recognizes Dell ink to inform when the ink cartridge is low. The difference in pricing is not significant.

Dell is getting better about making their products available at some retailers. You couln't get anything you needed from them except ordering it from them. This is not real conducive when you are working on a project and you find that you are out of toner, and you couldn't get a replacement.

I do believe that the cartridges I purchased directly from Dell lasted longer/printed more pages than these that I purchase from Staples. Is this on purpose? These seem to run out faster. I use this because I do a lot of work from home and print out many documents. The documents are clear and easily readable for the audience. For my use they are easy to replace and now that I do not have to order on line easy to replace.

I had to return this cartridge - it faded out after the first few lines of print. Not a good product and had to drive 20 miles to return to store. I won't be purchasing any more cartridges from Staples.
