There are times when HP puts a large advertising bar at the bottom of the page I am printing which wastes an incredible amount of ink. The irony of it is that the ad talks about how other cartridges from other companies waste ink! I tried to call HP and after 5 irritating recorded messages, I was finally connected to a young lady in India who had no idea of what I was trying to explain to her. My machine is an HP so I'm stuck buying their cartridges. On the pro side, the printing is really good and rather clear so I have to weigh that against the waste of ink.

Ink cartridge runs out rather quickly.  Also, the black & white pictures come out too dark.  Sometimes it is difficult to see the faces.
