Cross makes excellent, though expensive pens and refills. I received the pen I currently use as a "Thank you" gift from a student 25 years ago. If you tend to lose a lot of pens or leave them everywhere you go, you might wish to buy another brand. But if you are good at keeping track of your things, this is the pen for you. These are very popular as graduation and birthday gifts.
