When I worked at Wal~Mart this was the only pen and refill that would work on their receipt tape. I love this product. It writes smooth and neat. I use it for everything important. Including our checkbook. I carry one in my purse and there is one at my desk.

I gave a pen that used this ink in it to my parents several years ago. It was used to write letters, checks, track Dad's diabetes treatments. It wrote and wrote and wrote. When it finally stopped writing (after more than 4 years), Dad couldn't find a refill in his small town, so he bought another pen just like the first one. It is very dark black ink and smooth-writing.

This is the most comfortable pen I have ever used. I use it 11hours a day 5-6 days a week. I also have my customers sign their contracts with it and get many comments about what a nice pen it is, how comfortable it is and how snmoothly it writes. The only bad thing is, the refills are not always easy to find, so I stock up when I do find them.

I usually experiment with pens especially through note taking for school. For the first time I found one that's easy on the hands and just right with the amount of ink that goes on the paper. Although the ink is limited to a cartridge. The price to buy new ones is pretty descent.
